We all desire to live a life
free of debt, dependency,
fear and worry.
Many who start with an interest in basic food storage for emergencies end up diving into a whole new world of cooking, raising chickens, gardening, and self sufficiency, some completely off-grid.
It starts to make a lot of sense as you realize how much easier it is to be self reliant and not so dependent on “society” for your needs - with low cost of living and saving money at the same time.
If you’re having issues getting your budget under control or saving as much money as possible, a new method might just be what is right for you and your family.
Putting new ideas into play in your home can often set your family and your budget on firm ground!
Can You Live Simple & be Frugal?
Living a frugal lifestyle does not mean doing "without." It can be extremely rewarding to know that after years of just spending without thinking, you are now getting so much more for your buck.
Once you get in the habit of going to the thrift store and not Walmart, you are hooked. You will think, "What a fool I was to waste money buying new."
After the downturn in the economy we lost our home. It took 5 years for us to get on our feet, and we do not buy new unless we find a bargain. Sure some items such as sheets and towels, I buy new, when I find the right price.
We have big dreams. Living on a budget and living as frugally as possible helps us to save the money we need to achieve those dreams.
