What do you fear? Disease, death, divorce, debt? Yes, all will steal our happiness and can grind us down. They are words that in our hearts we all fear. One we all will face at some time - is death. The others may try to touch us but they can possibly be avoided in life.
While trials and heartache can steal our happiness, they can never take away our joy. When we give our lives to Christ, He lives within us, and with that comes this "inner" joy. We have this inner peace that calms us and in a strange way keeps our "inner joy" alive. The world around us and circumstances in life, may make us very unhappy, but the world can never take away the inner joy that Christ gives.
There are unexpected dark valleys we will need to face and travel through in life, but the Lord promises to hold us up and be at our side. "Trust Me," He speaks to our heart. "I will hold you when you are weak, " He whispers in our ear. "Move on."
God calls each of us to achieve and live His plan for our life. A content woman does not need to compare herself to others. Why is this happening to me? She knows Who is in control. .
When the journey is almost over, and the end is approaching, a woman of faith knows what lies ahead. No fear, no tears, just peace in knowing that a heavenly home awaits. A loving Savior has held her hand along the way in her earthly life and she can smile as her eyes meet the face of Jesus.
So dear sister in Christ, why do you fear? Focusing on fear enables it to grow and overwhelm you. Focus on His promises, focus on His Word.
The Creator of the universe has stated: "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."
Do you realize that God really loves you? He is not a judge on a throne, but a loving God. He wants you to live in peace and free of fear.
But first, are you saved? Have you asked Jesus into your heart and life? Have you asked Him for forgiveness for sin?
If so, then live fearlessly and have inner joy & peace with God!
