September is a time of preparing
September in North Georgia can still be hot and humid, but it is time to prepared for the Fall and Winter decorating by collecting. Now it the time to plan to dry flowers and plant mums to brighten the flowers that are just ending their seasonal blooms. I collect vines, twigs, pine cones and my beloved hydrangea flowers. They are my favorite flower for drying.
So don't let the in between month of September leave you scratching your head about the seasonal decor in your home. Candles, apples, pine cones, mums, hanging hydrangeas do dry and arranging twigs and vines on the mantle are perfect!
