As summer progresses, I scout about looking for flowers to pluck, hang and dry.
The hydrangea are the first ones that catch my eye to dry.
As summer wanes and most flowers begin to show signs of age I am ready to pluck.
When the leaves show the slightest hint of change, that is when I go into full natural decor mode!
There must be a decorating hormone hidden in most women, and if there is, mine soars especially in the Fall.

A delight to the eyes and a touch of freshness to the home, there is something about the scent of oranges that calms and refreshes!
The enjoyment that comes with drying oranges and apples for my wreaths is a DIY that I find great pleasure in.
