Step #1... begin with the simple stuff anyone can do.
We all have the grand idea of a BIG garden that is supplying us with all our table needs.
But really, that garden is out of reach for so many. Maybe you do not have the space or just feel you physically cannot take on that huge job.
Start with the simple plants... HERBS.
You can grow them is small spaces, anytime of the year (indoors also) and they can help you become and stay healthy! Yes, all that.
Start today. Plant an herb...for cooking, medicinal and emergency purposes.
These easy to grow plants ALWAYS are on hand in my garden and in pots in the kitchen.
Every meal begins with one or more of the following herbs. Granny knew the value of an herb and we do also.
Pick a few and get planting. *A must have for us.
DRIED LAVENDER* -for rashes, burns, psoriasis, stress and insomnia.
GINGER- settles nausea and diarrhea.
OREGANO*-immune booster. Settles stomach, fights infection and colds.
BASIL*-reduces tension, sleep aid.
BAY LEAVES-a digestive aid. My mother boiled the leaves and served as a tea to settle the stomach.
GARLIC-immune booster and wards off infection.
PEPPERMINT*- for nausea, stress, headaches, muscle pain, weight loss
ROSEMARY*- Supports the immune system, fights candida.
Cloves - analgesic properties, and kills bacteria.
