Dried fruit, floral wire, greenery, cinnamon sticks. grapevine wreath.
So VERY simple, it begins with apples and oranges and some cinnamon sticks. I use grapevine wreaths for all wreaths.
Here is a company that is inexpensive and has free shipping (not an affiliate link - just passing on).
Gather greenery, pine branches, magnolia leaves or other green filler of your choosing.
Start by slicing apples or oranges about 1/4 inch thick and placing them straight on the oven rack. Set oven at 200 degrees (F) for about 4 hours, turning every hour. If you do not want to use the oven and want to do it the old fashioned way, you can slice, string and hang out in the sun for a few days (as I did).
After drying is over, the creativity is all in your hands.
Simply fill in the greenery branches onto your grapevine wreath. Using floral wire, attach your oranges, apples and cinnamon to the wreath. It takes no time to get the hang of it.
Pine cones also are a great addition!
