I began making my own skin "nourishing" cream a few years ago.
Having used aloe and olive oil on my skin since my 20's, now as I am getting older (a bit older than 20's), I wanted something to renew and nourish the skin.
This product also can be used as a makeup remover, a night nourishing application, also on arms and legs.
A great all in one product. Here's the recipe...
You’ll need: (can order these below)
Using a double boiler or heat-safe jar ( I use a large mason jar to melt the wax in) in the pot of simmering water. Put beeswax, olive oil, and coconut oil in the jar -- heat until melted and blended.
Remove from heat and let it cool for about 15 minutes. Add Vitamin E and the lavender oil and blend all well. Pour into the containers and let sit overnight.
Label and store. I make enough to last for one year.
But when friends come over, somehow they always leave with one or two of my natural skincare products. Oh well. . . I love to share.
Here is what you will need:
Over the past 20 years, I have found that many oils do not meet my quality standards and many have multi-level marketing. So this reason I have found it necessary to use EDENS GARDEN oils. They do not have a multi-level marketing program (middle man) and they are VERY good quality for therapeutic benefits.
